Accounting Manager for Manufacturer in NEast ATL

Seeking an Accounting Manager with manufacturing experience. The CFO is looking for someone who wants to settle in for the long haul. They currently have a controller who will be there for the next three years, and they'd like this new person to work side-by-side with the controller, and eventually be prepared to take over all accounting and finance when the Controller retires. Position: Accounting Manager Oversees: A/P, A/R, and hands on w/ General Ledger. Will bring payroll into the area within a few months (currently reports to HR)Would like someone with internal controls experience. Rune wants to put more controls in place, and document processesWould prefer a CPA, but not a deal breaker (try to get a CPA)Wants someone who wants stability and a career pathThe current Controller oversees Operations and Inventory accounting. This new person will handle the Accounting Manager job, and learn the Controller job over the next 3 – 4 years, then roll both jobs together.He has a temp right now, but does not want a tempHas to be hands on at first, then will evolve into less hand on over the years(Located in Johns Creek, Alpharetta, off 400)Financially stable, with new products for their industrial side coming1) SAP module: FI–CO only2) General SAP knowledge, Reporting and Master Account Maintenance3) Currently two clerks (AP & AR). It has been decided to add a third person (general accounting / payroll) but the timing depends on filling the Accounting Manager position first. In addition to the accounting group we a "Controlling" department consisting of a Controller and two Cost / Plant Accountants. Both the Controller and the Accounting Manager report to the CFO.
