Low Cost Medications and Medication Assistance

Below you will find links to information for access to lost-cost generic medications for those uninsured or whose prescription medications are very costly. These are the current medication lists from Wal-Mart, Target, and Kroger for their $4 generic medication programs.

For brand-name medication assistance programs, the website below is an excellent resource to identify individual drug companies that offer such programs as well as how to apply to them.

Resume Writing

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I found an article in the WSJ earlier this week that talked about resume writing and in particular resume writing for those that have been out of the workplace for a few years. The article essentially stated that in this situation, it is best to play down dates and concentrate on skill sets by highlighting key core competencies and accomplishments on the first page and then dates and jobs on subsequent pages. They also gave two references. The first was a book titled "Expert Resumes for People Returning to Work" by Wendy Enelow and Louise Kursmark. It's less than $12 new from amazon.com and it may be available in the local library. The second reference was a website for resume and cover letter templates at http://www.womenforhire.com/. I checked out the site and it looks good. Tips are located off the main page by scrolling down and looking in the "career advancement" section.
